Consultation
We start with a free consultation (via phone) to answer any questions you may have and to see if a formal evaluation is warranted and if your child may benefit from speech-language therapy.
Evaluation
A comprehensive speech and/or language evaluation will be given. This consists of a parent/caregiver interview to gather background information, observations of your child, and informal/formal assessment measures. A full diagnostic report will be completed. We will meet to review the results and discuss a plan of care.
** You can also request a screening to quickly assess whether a full diagnostic is needed. A screening may also be used for updated information if your child has been previously evaluated (please provide a copy of previous reports) and to determine if therapy is still recommended.
Treatment
After discussing evaluation results, a personalized therapy plan is developed. Speech and/or language therapy is provided in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Therapy sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your child’s needs. After an evaluation, the therapist will recommend a schedule that best meets your child’s needs.
